Darkest Day Chocolate Coconut Porter: Fermentation

After a monster 14hr double brew day we have 20BBL of Darkest Day in the fermentor. This annual beer is our homage to the longest night of the year over Winter Solstice. We take our ever-popular Coconut Porter and add a healthy amount of Dark Cacao nibs to give the beer a robust and flavorful dark-chocolate bitterness. This is what happens 16hrs later as the beer begins to actively ferment. Quite the show! Mark your calendars for 12/21 when the beer goes on tap.
