Releasing on February 3rd, our seasonal red ale has a great hoppy character from 7cs & Sorachi Ace hops. The robust malt backbone has added caramel and roasted malts for a full flavor experience. Weighing in at a reasonable 4.8% ABV, this beer can be enjoyed multiple times in one session.
We've been busy in the brewhouse these last few weeks of summer. We have a fresh batch of Single Hop Hefeweizen getting kegged as I type this. In addition to the Hefe, we've got a new iteration of our American Sour Ale series coming out soon, Strawberry Sour. The delicate strawberry flavor shines through and pairs nicely with the warm patio and sunshine.
We are also excited to be releasing an Altbeir in the coming weeks. Altbier is Copper-colored, cool-fermented, cold-conditioned, clean-tasting, with an aromatic hop presence, a firm creamy head, a medium body, and a dry finish.
Fans looking for a darker brew in our lineup will be pleased to hear that we're brewing Elaine's Coconut Porter again. Look for it to be on-tap sometime in October.
OG 1.070 / ABV 7.5% / IBU 5

We here at Loveland Aleworks have been humbled by the outpouring of LOVE you showed us at the Gnarly Barley Brew Festival. We know there were some amazing breweries at the festival and we are beyond excited that your chose us as the People's Choice Winner. Without your love and support these past three years, this win would not have been possible. Our amazing fans made this possible. When you head to Colorado Eagles games this winter, or other events at the Budweiser Events Center be sure to stop at the main beer station by the entrance to grab yourself an ice cold pint of Loveland's favorite beer. We look forward to continuing to brew ales, using the best ingredients, that we and our customers believe in. In addition to the People's Choice win the Thompson Education Foundation will receive $500 from the Gnarly Barley festival because our bucket had the most sampling tokens.
This is a traditional Bavarian style beer with a twist: we hopped this beer exclusively with American Citra hops. The result is a thirst-quenching wheat beer with bright lemon & pine notes, perfect for long Colorado summer days.
OG 1.049 ABV 5.4% IBU 30
American Sour Ale with Peaches & Apricots:
OG 1.063 / ABV 6.7% / IBU 5 Tart and Refreshing with a fresh Peach and Apricot flavors. Perfect for enjoying on a warm summer afternoon on the patio or in your backyard.
A complex pale ale featuring 15% German rye malt. Dry and spicy, this beer showcases the unique flavors of rye and balance of eight varieties of hops.
Later this summer we hope to brew a local crowd sourced brew with all Loveland grown hops. We need our customer's help for this project. For those of you who grown hops, please consider donating them to this crowd sourced beer. For people who donate we'll provide you with a growler of the finished beer once done. Remember, hops need full sun, and are typically harvested at the end of August/ beginning of September. They need good soil drainage. We'd love to get your freshly picked hops at the end of the summer when they're ready. This beer will never be repeatable, but we think it will be a fun community project.
