Medina's Revenge Brown Ale Release Party

  • Loveland Aleworks

Join us in the taproom as we celebrate Loveland's original settler. Know as a respected frontiersman, trader, and businessman Mariano Medina chose the Big Thompson River, and the Loveland area as home. He charged tolls for guiding people across the river as the territory of Colorado was growing. At the time, wealth was measured in the horses one owned. One evening fifty of his ponies were stolen by a roaming band of Utes. The next day, despite being outnumbered, he tracked the thiefs down, took his horses back, and returned to the Loveland area. This bold brown ale is a tribute to the original Loveland settler, bad ass, and trader. Get your revenge!

Fire & Ice Festival Weekend

  • Loveland Aleworks

Make plans to join us in downtown Loveland for the Fire & Ice festival over the 2nd weekend in February. Loveland Aleworks will be open during all of the festivities. There will be ice sculptures, fireworks displays, live music, children's activities, foods vendors, a beer tent, and tons of energy in downtown Loveland.

This is one of our favorite weekends, as so many people come to visit Loveland during the Valentine's weekend. We will have our annual collaboration beer, For the Love of Hops, with the guys from Crow Hop Brewing on tap during the festivities.

The fireworks show each evening is worth the wait, as they can be seen perfectly from the front of the brewery. It feels at times as if they are going off over the brewery. The Ice sculpture competition will be in full swing all weekend, up and down 4th st. We will have an ice sculpture right in front of the brewery.
