Join us in the taproom as we celebrate Loveland's original settler. Know as a respected frontiersman, trader, and businessman Mariano Medina chose the Big Thompson River, and the Loveland area as home. He charged tolls for guiding people across the river as the territory of Colorado was growing. At the time, wealth was measured in the horses one owned. One evening fifty of his ponies were stolen by a roaming band of Utes. The next day, despite being outnumbered, he tracked the thiefs down, took his horses back, and returned to the Loveland area. This bold brown ale is a tribute to the original Loveland settler, bad ass, and trader. Get your revenge!
